Dr. Anthony Gyang is a board-certified obstetrician-gynecologist with advanced expertise in chronic pelvic pain management and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. His practice is distinguished by a patient-centered approach that integrates cutting-edge surgical techniques with compassionate, holistic care for women facing complex gynecologic conditions.
Dr. Gyang began his medical career at the University of Ghana, where he earned his medical degree. He went on to obtain a postgraduate certificate in gynecologic ultrasound from the University of Cardiff in the United Kingdom, further refining his diagnostic skills. After completing his internship at Howard University Hospital in Washington, DC, he pursued a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Franklin Square Hospital in Baltimore.
Following residency, Dr. Gyang undertook a highly specialized fellowship in chronic pelvic pain and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery at Florida Hospital Orlando, where he gained expertise in advanced laparoscopic and minimally invasive techniques for complex pelvic conditions.
He is board-certified in obstetrics and gynecology, as well as in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. Dr. Gyang is a Fellow of the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists (AAGL) and the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG). In addition, he maintains active memberships with the International Pelvic Pain Society and the International Academy of Pelvic Surgery, reflecting his commitment to advancing global standards in women’s health.
Through his clinical practice, research, and international collaborations, Dr. Gyang continues to shape the field of gynecology by focusing on innovative, less invasive approaches that improve outcomes and enhance the quality of life for women worldwide.
